How to Play Video in a Zoom Meeting or Webinar

There is an updated way to play video and you can find it here https://garysquickbytes.com/2021/08/04/zoom-the-new-and-better-way-to-share-video-in-a-zoom-meeting-or-webinar/

If you have been using Zoom you know it is possible to share the screen which is useful if you are sharing a website, an image or a PowerPoint presentation, or perhaps even Keynote. If you want to play a video you might have noticed it does not play back very well. It can be jerky and then your audience can’t see it video very well. Well that can easily be fixed.

If you want to see what it is like then just log in to your meeting or webinar on another device so you can see what that will see.

It is a really simple fix. When you click on Share Screen choose the Optimise Screen Share for Video Clip before you click on the Share button. It will also turn on Share computer sound which you can turn off if you want. One other thing, make the video full screen before you play it.

Here’s a video clip to show you how to do it.
