Goal Seek

How many times have you got an answer but would like to work backwards to see what value you should have input to get the answer you desired. For example, it would be handy to use the payment (PMT) function to work out the monthly payments on a loan, you may want to take the answer and say this is how much I can pay each month how much can I borrow. Without Goal Seek you would change the borrowed amount until you got the answer you wanted. But Excel can do that for you and you can see how in the video below.
