Using Vimeo to Review Edits

Video editing sometimes involves a lot of back and forth with fine tuning the edits. Your client often wants to change things either moving things around or taking bits out. They go through the edit noting down timecode which doesn’t always match with yours.

Vimeo takes away some of this hassle. The person reviewing, and more than one person can do this, just plays the video and then just has to click on the video at the relevant point to make a note, and they don’t need to note down the timecode, Vimeo notes it.

I’ve found this leads to less confusion and faster turnaround.

You do need Vimeo Pro, Business or Premium to do this.

Here’s a video showing how it works.
