VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP are two popular functions in Excel and a new one has come along to replace them, don’t worry they haven’t gone away. The new function is XLOOKUP it is easier to use and has some additional features such as what to do if it doesn’t find a match and also can look either to the left of the lookup value or above, something not possible with the other functions mentioned.
