At one point Flash videos were the way to watch videos on the Internet and I created loads to load up onto many websites for clients I created videos for. However, we want videos to play on many more devices so MP4s are more useful and can be used on the Internet and many other devices. They could also be used I’m presentations. So the problem for me, and I guess many others is that we need to convert some of those old videos and convert them to MP4s.
Thankfully there is a great program and it is free. It is called Handbrake and you can download it from http://handbrake.fr. Handbrake is also available for both Windows and Mac.
Below is a video showing you how to use it. It works the same on Windows and Mac. In this video I use a Mac but it does not matter.
